Letter from Oleg Artemiev and his family dated September 6, 2004 September 6, 2004 Dear Brothers and Sisters of Zion Church, Thank you very much for your prayer and your financial support of my ministry. I am sending you some pictures about my summer work. During the summer my family and I worked and had some vacation time in the Kirov region. I did a special conference for missionaries and preachers and youth there. After that, we had a week of children¹s camp and a one-week youth camp. In both camps my wife worked as the chief cook. Anton worked as a fireman and I worked as a preacher and Bible teacher. In youth camp our son-in-law, Ilya, came to Christ. We were SO HAPPY. After camps we had a mission trip to Udmurt Republik for proclaiming the Good News in small villages and towns. In Udmurt Republik, in one small village during worship service I noticed that all children played hide and seek outside. I went out and started to seek all of them. I took some time. I found some children behind the house. Some hid in a storage room. Some hid behind the toilet. I found all of them and led them to the worship service. Then I preached, using the story of Adam and eve hiding from God. After that we gave all the children Bibles (see picture). I asked the children to visit worship service every time. They said "yes." Now we have returned to our home. Anton and I are working with the orphanages. We visited orphanages and the directors on September 1. Greetings to your church. God bless you. Oleg |
