Sunday, March 27 - Sunday, April 3, 2005. Nurse In the Congregation. Next Sunday a blood pressure screening will be held immediately following the service in the STAR room (S.S. class next to the library). Come have one of the nurses take your blood pressure. Judy Nafziger Wedding Shower. Everyone (guys, this includes you) is invited to a drop-in wedding shower for Megan Hartman and Vince Throngard at Zion on Sunday, April 3 from 2-4 p.m. A gift registry is available at Kohl's and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Questions? Contact Patty Baer. Resumes Accepted. The Pastor’s Committee is accepting resumes for the position of Administrative Assistant at Zion Mennonite Church. The part time paid position is 16-18 hours per week. Contact Ron Piper, chair of the Pastor’s Committee, or Clyde Kratz, Pastor, for more information or to submit a resume. VBS Superintendent Needed. The Vacation Bible School Committee is looking for a superintendent for this year’s Bible School, tentatively scheduled for June 19-23. If you are interested in this opportunity or would like more information, see Megan Hartman, Clyde Kratz, Dawn Mast, or Steph Resto. Member Search. The Care Commission is in the process of reviewing persons who hold membership in the congregation. They are currently contacting persons who have not been an active part of the congregation for an extended length of time. At this time, the Care Commission is trying to locate Peggy Heaver. FUTURE EVENTS: Soup in a Bowl. The Care Commission welcomes members and friends of the congregation to a fellowship supper on Wednesday evening April 6, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Good Ground Sunday School class is preparing the meal. Persons cooking the meal would welcome an accurate count of participants - please sign your name on the sign up sheet in the foyer or contact Kathy Alderfer: Kalderfer@juno.com or 896-1007. Artist Exhibition. “Experiences” by Jill Fairweather will be on display April 9-26, 2005 in the student art gallery at EMU. Saturday, April 9 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. an artist reception and gallery talk will occur. You are invited to celebrate this milestone with Jill. [Lower level of University Commons next to Common Grounds Coffeehouse.] Guess Who's Coming to Supper? In your bulletins today you will find an insert to sign up for the “Guess Who's Coming to Supper” event on Sunday, April 10 at 6:00pm. Please fill them out if you are interested in participating, and place them in the offering basket this morning. Both hosts and guests are needed for this evening of food and fellowship! The Congregation is invited to the wedding of Megan Hartman and Vince Throngard on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindale Mennonite Church.
